The game has a great atmosphere! I really enjoyed the visual style — it gives the project a unique charm. The sound design complements the mood perfectly, and the gameplay was super fun and engaging. It was a pleasure to play, and I hope the project keeps growing!
I absolutely loved the sound design, and the art style was incredible as well. However, I definitely agree with others that it is hard to figure out what to do. Most of my time playing was wandering around and spamming E to talk to everyone that I could. Maybe some kind of simple indicator for who had dialogue would have been good? Still, the issue of spending so much time wandering around and not knowing what to do was offset a bit by how nice the world was to look at and listen to.
Loved this! Such a nice art style and the world feels pretty fleshed out. I agree with tbone_turner below in that I got a bit lost and wished it was clearer what the objective was at any time. I guess that's what "[e] think" would be for? Maybe a notepad journal or something could help. I stopped playing once it mentioned going back to the two guys and I went back to who I thought they were and they had blank dialogues in response, so I must have missed something. But honestly, if the small issue of wayfinding is neatened up and the story kept being interesting (again I stopped so I can't tell if it does), this would be a solid game! Great work.
Great artwork and I love the open area feel to the investigation, however I did at many times feel stuck as I did not know what specific person to talk to in order to progress, and with so many potential NPC's spread across an open area with a PC that has slow walking speed, at times it felt frustrating to actually progress in the game. While the sound design and art design and characters were great and cute and the world fun to explore and look at, I would have loved to see some sort of hint system or additional UI elements to keep track of information and plot threads. But overall a great world to create in such a short amount of time.
