You have a README which is great, but you'll need a License file as well (these are two main criteria for open source category). README looks good, maybe add some screenshots to spice it up a little.

Enjoying the full screen on start. Music is funky and got me in the vibes. I love that the star, the box, and the eyes move to the beat. This is super fun! Addictive, clean. The graphics are really cute and also easy on the eyes. The animation for the level changes is slick. Lovely work and nice creative use of the theme, rather different and cool. Well done.

Thank you so much for the kind feedback. I'm really happy you enjoyed the game! I appreciate the note about the License file and screenshots. I’ve just added both to the GitHub repo. I had read on the Gamedev.js site that the open source requirements weren't clearly specified, so I missed those details initially. Thanks again for pointing it out!

Yeah it's probably not clearly written for the game jam, however a README and License is a standard requirement for something that is open source (industry standard rather than "hackathon" or "game jam" requirement).

I checked your repo and I LOVE your README; nice use of screenshots.
