question. I got the 2.0 version from dtrpg.

I found here that the 1.0 version had die rolls.

Can you tell me why you removed the die rolling mechanic?

Rolling was removed to speed up the gameplay loop and prevent situations where zero damage was being dealt, which was 66.67% on each d6 rolled in version 1. Playtesting also revealed that rolling for damage was better at lower enemy numbers and I  wanted to focus on the larger and more chaotic missions, so the fit didn't make sense.
