I had been looking for a game like this to play lately. I can say, yours nicely scratched the potion brewing itch.

I think the pacing generally works very well, I was getting ready to quit a few times, but then always figured out how to progress and it was a nice feeling of success. It’s not too hard and not too obvious either. One’s encouraged to keep exploring.

As for the brewing system, I don’t know if I missed something, but my main understanding was that two ingredients with a common property should be combined. But in half the cases that still didn’t produce a potion. Also e.g. I thought I had a good setup for a poison with stun as side-effect, but it didn’t work out. I don’t really mind this being a bit non-mathematical, just giving my impression. What could use a QoL improvement is the ingredient overview: It’s pretty complicated to find your known ingredients with a given property, you end up just clicking through all the entries in the book…

The system of preparing ingredients before brewing is kinda cool and when I was starting to plant stuff in the garden + run all the machines it felt I was really getting into the flow.

Eventually I noticed a recurring bug that discarded my stashed materials and I figured I would stop playing for now and come back on a subsequent DD. Keep going! It’s fun!

Thanks for playing, and really great to hear you liked it!
The brewing should work so that all effects that the ingredients have in common and are not "opposites" (such as poison and healing) will appear in the potion as main effects (=effects that increase the value)  and in addition if the ingredients contain any negative effects they might also appear as side effects (=effects that lessen the value). If this doesn't end up happening it's probably bugged :D. The whole thing ended up becoming a bit more complicated than I initially thought, and communicating the mechanism to the player became a bit too hard for me, I think I need to do something about that in the near future. Maybe I have to tweak the whole algorithm to be a bit more comprehensible.

Gotta do something about the storage bug, sound super annoying. Thanks for reporting!
