I mean it IS a romance game ðŸ˜… it makes sense to end up in a relationship with the character whose route you bought...

I get it if you ended up not liking Ruben's character but I think it's silly to play this wanting to reject him when the romance is the whole point of the game

LOL nowhere in the description does it it say that it is a romance game. (but yes, I know it is)

However, since it is described to be about breaking the curse, choices and self-discovery...shouldn't those things be the main focus of the game. Plus, more often than not even games that are strictly about romance, have a way to refuse to enter a relationship. Plus, since this game has 5 different variations of it, it would make sense to offer each of them a hate/forced/friend paths, instead of making a separate route for that...unless of course route 6 would contain all 5 LIs in a huge party mix chaos.

But seriously, is it really that wrong to wish to enjoy the game and the story without being forced into a relationship that feels fake as sh*t?

Is is not just because I dislike Ruben's. I mean, yes, he is an a**hole and there is really nothing even remotely likable about the guy, but it is not his personality that rubs me the wrong way (I could definitely see my character falling for him under different circumstances). It is the way the relationship is forced upon that bothers me. It feels fake, artificial and forced. Choices end up meaning nothing and in the end you are not even given choices, and that is the part that sucks.
