I really like this! I saw you developing it in the discord and I was really excited to play it, since I love the graphics and the visual style. I would have liked more levels of course, since the game is quite short. Some of the hitboxes were a little annoying too since they just stopped me mid air and wouldn't let me reach certain platforms that looked reachable. Otherwise,  it was well executed given the short time limit of the jam :)

Thanks for the kind words! I liked your game too, we went for a similar look and limitation idea hehe Yours especially was honestly super impressive for a first godot game, and also within the time limit of the jam

I do plan on coming back to this sometime post-jam and fleshing it out a bit more, adding more levels, maybe new level elements and obstacles, different visual areas like maybe a desert, possibly even going more closer to the NES in terms of colour limitations and resolution and that sort of thing, because I didn’t have that much time during the jam to do it, and also this sort of game is honestly super fun to develop
