A fantastic game with a very good eye for details, something games of this genre often omit! If there is anything I love in RPGs, it's the ability to have interesting interactions with everything in the room, and this game absolutely excels in this! And the writing is snappy and evocative enough for it to actually be interesting, without it becoming a "this is a plant :|", "this is a bed :|". Really shows your experience as a writer and the care you put into this game!

The rooms and situations are varied and imaginative, I'm sure a lot of these sprites are RPG maker stock assets but your level design and personal touches (like the cameras or the tentacles) brought it all together, so that there was no feeling of the traditional "RPG Maker visual cheapness".

Of course the character design and the artwork is peak! Jane is a cool gal, hope she gets a happy ending one day. By the way, huge respect for commissioning the work of artists rather than pumping out these AI visual novels or RPGs which have 0 soul or personality to them (the casino manager comments you included have been noticed ;) ).

The dev notes are also a great addition, it's always interesting to see what went through the creator's head when they were working on their project. That part about having a cozy room at the end of the demo as a reward for Jane is the best. More game devs need to care this much about level design AND their characters! :)

With the reference to Undertale when you look in the mirror, I just have to say this. I'm absolutely not going to compare a masterpiece like Undertale to a fetish boob game (no offense), but I feel like you have taken a lot of good game design lessons from Undertale in your game.

Played the old downloadable version but this is definitely a game I'd love to come back to!

Thank you for making this game and best of luck to you in college and your future job prospects! :D

Hey, I'm glad you liked it, and I appreciate everything nice you have to say about it! I put a lot of work into this game and I'm still developing it, hoping to make it the best it can be.

Indeed, there are a lot of stock RPGMaker assets, but I did want to spice things up just a little with some custom sprites, the shifted camera, and some other tweaks. Looks like it worked!

I'm glad someone said something about the casino manager comments, aha!

I've never actually played Undertale, interestingly. I know it has funny writing, though.

You can actually play the latest version, for free, in the browser! The Jane portraits have been totally overhauled (and they get larger), and there are some more rooms!
