Thank you for your comments! It makes me glad to know something I made was enjoyed so much!

Also, thank you for the bug report! I was able to reproduce the bug and that should now be fixed. You'll just need to download the new version, but you shouldn't have to restart your game or anything.

If you don't mind me asking, would you be able to share your various stats when you died? What player level, which room/area of the game, what difficulty setting, that sort of thing.  I just want to make sure the difficulty isn't too far off, and that would be very helpful.

Thank you again for playing my game!

Hey, thanks for the quick response! I'd only recently gotten out of the Hyper-Sim Training Room and was heading out of the starting area. I died near the Save Crystal that's below the house where you learn... Sonic Javelin, I think it was?

I was playing on Easy to ease myself into the game, and it's honestly just as I remember it - you even kept the Arts inputs exactly the same so far! This has been a huge nostalgia trip for me, and I have a feeling it's only going to get better from here.

(P.S. Did you also include the 'one-button' stuff? You know, like scanning enemies and such? If you didn't, that's fine - I just remember randomly stumbling across it during my first playthrough of MTSQ and was curious if you kept it in or not.)

Okay, I think I know where you're at then. All of the arts attacks have the same inputs, but you still have to buy the hyper arts. At the very least, you don't need to play the game a bunch of times to "open up paths" just to get the final abilities, lol.

I'm glad to hear it's hitting all the right buttons for you too! I tried keeping it as close as I could, though I did have to take advantage of newer technologies, such as with the menus. If you're familiar with the Super Arts training hut from the original, that's been repurposed as well with some neat features. The story has been touched up a bit, and there are actual multiple endings rather than just continuing on with the one like the original, so have fun finding them!

And, no, I didn't include those hidden inputs. I thought about it, but I wanted to keep the control scheme as simple/generic as possible. Originally I was thinking I'd add controller support if it was requested, but as you can see you're the first person in 4 years that's commented so this project hasn't seen much updates, lol.

Makes sense. Actually, is there a better way to get in touch with you, like Discord or anything? Seems like a bit of a hassle to have a full conversation within Itch's comment section - especially because I've run into a rather... unique problem regarding the Super Arts training. (If you do have Discord, my handle is the same there as it is here.)

Also, not including the hidden inputs is perfectly fine! I didn't think absolutely everything from the original MTSQ would be brought over. Still, glad to hear that even if virtually nobody else remembers this hidden gem, I at least do.
