If you ask me, i think "Donutsman" is worth it. The game itself is good, it only suffers from a bit of slow gameplay and if that could be fixed, by using a faster compiler, it should be done. But of course, that's your decision. It would be a fine thing, though. :)
Hi, i had a look to Oscar64, it is very good, but it would need i rewrite a big part of Donutsman. It is not just a matter of recompilation. I did not have time for that. I could also try with claude code to automatize the conversion... but for now, no time for that. But Oscar64 won't do miracle here , but from my experience with Flat Lane (not Oscar64 , it is also CC65) i know where i can improve my code to have better performance now. Will see may be one day, i will release a new version. Thanks for your interest!
Hy, thanks for answering. Ah okay, I didn't knew, that a big part of your game needs to be rewritten, that it works, to use the Oscar64 compiler. If so, than I can understand, that it's a problem. But sounds good, that you maybe will have a look at the game again, in the future. I think it's a good Pac-Man like game with nice additions in the gameplay (like the shooting for example), therefore the game would be worth it. Best regards.
