I think they might have been referring to the first multiple choice where you selected between a rusty door, a lamplight, or a multi-tool. I didn't see anything where the choice of feature came up later in play. It seems like there are a lot of mechanics that need more context and fleshing out; it's an interesting concept with some potential, but in its current form, I had trouble crafting a meaningful narrative in my playthrough.
Thanks for the feedback! I like to throw in somewhat cosmetic things that are there just to help you visualize your character and the world around you, and not necessarily tie it all back into the narrative or the mechanics (sort of leave it up to the player to do with it what they will). But I can see now how that does make it feel a bit less fleshed out.
