Is this the first time you started the game or did you have a save file from the demo?

i played the demo but i deleted my save data and started over

We're testing the game. Right now we haven't been able to reproduce the bug and suspect it may be a Mac-only issue. We'll keep trying while, hopefully, more Mac users try out the game.

As a last ditch thing, have you tried clicking *around* the button? Sometimes in this engine the "button" gets displaced and moved slightly in some direction.

on windows and have the same error, it's blocked by a blue banner with white text, and won't let me continue

Can you please post a screencap?

Actually, here's another workaround you could try.

While on the screen where you have to press "Yes", do this:

Press the V key, which enables the self-voicing feature

Press the "Right arrow" key. See if the "Yes" option becomes highlighted.

If it is highlighted, press Enter to confirm.

After that you can deactivate self-voicing by pressing V again.

Tell me if it works. Hopefully it does. We'll keep trying to figure this out on our end.

nothing seems to be working, this is what my screen looks like. the yes option is just blanked out.

Try turning off the chastity kink. Does that do anything?

that didnt seem to change anything

It may take a while for us to identify the problem, but we're working on another workaround. In the meantime, what we can suggest for now is that you delete your save file again, necessarily through the in-game SETTINGS menu, then go through the previous stories without turning any kinks on, just to eliminate the possibility of other issues being the cause.

We figured it out.

Try putting a bookmark on any story. That should do it.

We'll update the game tonight.

thank you omg it worked!!

I figured I share this here as it was figured out in the discord, but if you bookmark a previous story and attempt to start "Lovebird", It'll ask you if you want to start a new story when you have the other story bookmarked, and you can start it from that popup.

This workaround seems to totally fix the issue for now, and wont need to be repeated.
