Nice game!

The game looks great and the world you traverse is very nice. The typing off spells though doesn't do much for the game imo. It would have been better to just have them as separate buttons to click. If you want to go down the typing game route you need to implement the Enter to submit, but I still think there will be a weird contrast to the exploration going back and forth.

The fireballs enemies cast are very unforgiving. The game plays fast so its very easy to just move twice when exploring and get hit by two quick fireballs and die and have to start over. Maybe the player could get some hint that someone is about to attack, or just slow down the game enough to make that obvious. Not sure whats best here.

I didn't figure out a way to equip any of the items, so I assumed they are equipped by just being in the inventory, and that its part of the balancing of the game by only having those 6 slots.

I struggled a while in the beginning to find the second wall to break. I basically went around hitting all walls until I found it. Next to the doors there are something that looks like buttons, and I spent a lot of time just trying to figure out how these buttons work to open the locked doors.

A Really Nice Entry!

Thanks for playing!

I think a "find your spells by typing" system, maybe hint based, would have been better but I had to settle with this due to time constraints. It's one of the reasons why there is no ingame information about the available spells - nor any kind of main menu.

The missing ENTER was a really annoying bug even for me when I did some last-minute testing.

Items are equiped by default when picking them up. I forgot to write this down in the description :D
