Hi, just wanted to ask; how many players is this designed for?

Hi there and thanks for the question!

It depends a bit on the playstyle of your group. I would say the sweet spot is 1 GM + 3 or 4 players.

That said, my current campaign has only 2 players which are both willing to add a lot to the story and the world. We're having a great time but if you have a "classic" D&D-style group which is IMO more depending on the GM to present a story too few players may be a problem. You can compensate with cohorts but that's not everybody cup of tea.
Same is true on the other end of the spectrum if you have more than 4 players it may be too stressful for the GM or boring for the players when you play the "wait-til-its-your-turn"-style. If you have players who are fans of the other PCs, are invested into the story and are on the lookout for opportunities to mix storylines that is a great game, too.
Like: "ok, I'm out for revenge because a demon killed my brother. You think your mother is a witch working toward the end of the world. What about if the demon she is working with is also the killer? And is he also your father? Let's play to find out!"
