Honestly enjoyed the digging mechanic. I was so confused when I jumped an made a hole in the ground at the start.

Could have used a fog texture or something after the first round. Like obviously I want to see the full image, but digging through what was basically a slight lighting effect was a bit disorienting.

I’m glad you liked it! Tried to mitigate the dig under you when jumping, so it shouldn’t dig if you tap jump fast. But the digging absolutely could use tweaking all around.

The under layer had a black tint before I settled with the lighting effect. Ended up with this to make it look more like you’re stripping the clothes. And with the black tint, the tunnels and patches of the upper layer made the character look a bit like they had some kind of skin condition or holes in their body, which wasn’t the look I was going for. Fog or blur could work better but I kinda like my approach too, so if I update I’ll probably try to make the lighting effect bigger or clearer somehow, or maybe adding a scan ability that shows all the tunnels.

Oh yeah, I can definitely a more solid overlay looking like a weird skin thing now that you say it.
