Heya! I had loads of fun with this game!

The story is relatively simple, but pretty charming thanks to the three main characters. Their personality really made the dialogues and the story pretty fluent. (And the drawings are super cute - Matcha is super expressive)

The gameplay has a pretty unique twist, since you need to gather the ingredients... from the source. Unfortunately I feel like the dungeon part could've been fletched a little more since it's always the same room, but it's still impressive given the single month of work.
While for the cooking gameplay, it was my favorite part. Despite looking simple, having to manage different variants of the ingredients to keep track of and the limited amount of ovens and slashers, made it pretty fun to manage. I just don't see the point in taking the clients order, since it's the same every time (and you can just do it right before delivering the dish)

This is definitely one of the most polished games of the jam, and it fits the theme pretty well! And despite being relatively simple, I found myself addicted to it.

Also, I streamed the game to return the favor C: here's the vod:

thank you for the review and stream! i enjoyed watching your playthrough and hearing your comments definitely made me happy + gave me a lot to think about on how to improve my game!

a lot of what you mentioned were definitely originally planned in the game (bigger dungeon and varying orders) but i decided to ultimately cut them for the jam  to keep things feasible within the month and prevent feature creep. if i ever decide to turn this into a full blown game i do have ideas on how to iterate upon them.
