underrated gem, this was actually really cool and absorbing with the solid worldbuild setting and lore. i think there were just many references to history/myth bits that went over my head or either mixed up in my memories that I would appreciate a glossary/encyclopedia of related core facts if it were ever considered, though in the limited timeframe applying historical themes, it was already a blast of riveting story! The death/murder depicted sprite of certain characters successfully got me stunned in horror, too because wow. Isidorus’ dragged out punishment-to-torture was satisfying lol much deserved of him despite Esquilinius supposedly straight up get rid of him. I adored Finn’s moments, the teasing-vulnerable-trust dynamic with Kveldulf, and of course, the righteous Esquilinius’ development falling for Una. Delyth carried the characters on her back though cool OP mom that thankfully didn’t fall victim to some disaster like the usual other moms of a protag. That traveling by the ends opened up the brewing possibility of a sequel tbh, though it still tied up nicely for hopeful, resolved tone conclusion overall.
One Latin word usage that kinda confused me was the vitis when Esquilinius said he will beat Isidorus half to death with the vitis (which i searched for the meaning was grapevine?)
Recommended Route Order would be starting from Finn’s leaning choices, then Kveldulf or Esquilinius (due to the chronological reveal of the white horse’s name and how she mentioned about going on a ride with Esquilinius but not encountered when i did his route unless picking the specific choice to spend the time fishing with Finn from what i remember).
