You may interact with it first, on a XBOX controller that should be the ( A ) button.

Unfortunately the issue was that after interacting with the box, it failed to properly slide along the ground with the player. Once I got the box to the switch, it accidentally got flipped over and the player character was then stuck in the interact animation and unable to move. I am going to try it again soon once I finish with mine. If its a bug you can reproduce there is still time to fix it! :)
