This is remarkable. Thanks so much for transcoding it. On the higher levels, it seems as though the warp gates no longer slow down the ghosts. I'm not good enough at the original to know whether or not that's normal.

And now for something completely different...

A transcode that I'd personally throw money at would be bringing Mr. Do to the Amiga 500. If you decided to do that someday, I have an idea that could set it apart from all other ports and transcodes. The default pathways that the monsters follow are numbers. In the background, you can see that the paths form numbers like 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, etc.... What if the game was exactly the same as the arcade, except that when you get to the last number level, it's followed by A, B, C, D, E, etc.... That should result in a bunch of extra levels/screens since the monster A.I. should do the rest.

it is not really a transcode. The game is one of the early conversions where I recoded the game without using the source code at all. About Mr Do maybe, we'll see.

Yes, "Mr. Do" would be nice and "Mr. Do's Castle" would be absolutely superb. I like this game even more, than the original "Mr. Do". But "Mr. Do's Castle" looks technically more complex to me. Whether it will work in fullspeed on the Amiga is the question? Perhaps it would work on AGA computers, but on ECS/OCS machines, i guess, it could be difficult. It would be really fantastic, though, because "Mr. Do's Castle" is really a great game.

And you know what? The game "Guzzler" (from Tehkan, 1983) would also be a great candidate for a Amiga port. It's a lot of fun and not too complicated. And besides, there are only very few home-ports of this Arcade game available (it had a Sega SG-1000 port and recently, an MSX port of the game was released).  Just some suggestions. :-)
