lags a lot on firefox, though it just seems like it's poorly optimized for html. do love dungeon crawlers(made one not to long ago) but game seems to lack a lot of mechanics to make it really work as one. far as I can tell it's all just rng?being faster paced and with some movement options I could see this being a lot of fun. hope it gets just 1 update to interate
well sidestep is kinda a must for these games. but I think a sprint option similar to runescape might work well. that way you need to plot out were you can run and when you need to slow down to save stamina. an auto advance when holding forward would be good qol. also think having parts of the map covered until you see them might make things better, maybe as a hard mode.
Shoot i forgot to write it in the controls but there is a side and back step. Just hold left shift when you move. I'll fix that now. And making keys remappable is high on my list. Same with the have to uncover the map as you go. I just ran out of time for the jam. Thanks so much for the extra feedback.
