i cant seem to understand where i can find the cave in ch1. ive looked in the gdoc but i still cant understand? can yall help me

Either you're still missing a character out of Izumi/Nami/Mitsuki/InkoOr you should have gotten a small cutscene showing the cave that newly opened when you woke up the next day.Nonetheless, it's on the left of the village near Mitsuki's house.
