This is the best approach I have right now, and it only works in Filmic display mode. Unfortunately, it also affects Doll's eyes, although the difference is still noticeable. You can play with the values until it looks the way you like.

I tried this, and for some odd reason it isn't working. I'm running 3.6 and have Filmic display mode on (I'm very confused on how yours connected like that)

Enable compositing in the viewport!

also nice background, may i enquire as to how you achieved that?

I edited my 3d viewport theme in the themes setting and scrolled down to gradient and did that :3

Hey, could you explain what compositing is? This is the first I've heard of it but the eyes look so much better for you than mine.

it's a series of tweaks applied after the initial render.
