have you considerd theming the dungeons around being a fortress or town/village? perhaps, even being responsible for monsters spreading back out across the map... And, bringing back the "kidnap" mechanic for captured warriors? (kidnap being for girls who fail quests/fall unconcious)?

I like the idea about the fortress/town/village theming. That does indeed make a lot more sense than the current theming with the mechanics I'm going for
