I honestly did not expect much from this, and was surprised by how deep and enjoyable gameplay is. Very impressive, especially as a jam project.

I think the idea of pseudo-physics weapon interaction is great. If you want to develop this game further, I think it would benefit from more careful implementation, including edge cases like weapon striking hero model (happens with e.g. Sword Bow) and more meaningful 'swordplay' (e.g. currently it seems that the best strategy with sword against melee enemies is to just to do nothing, allowing enemies to impale themselves on your sword).
I agree with comments below on the need to display hero and item stats, but I think you already know it.
