I really appreciated your analysis, thank you so much for all the points you brought up. The dialogues are being rewritten in this update I released today, to reach the quality you praised, so that means a lot to us.
We were also in the middle of changing translators (none of us are native English speakers), so that was part of the delay too.
About the data leak issue—yeah, that’s something that exists in the base Fear and Hunger as well. You only really notice it after playing for a while. Some of Miro’s code conflicts with the mod. Don’t get me wrong, Miro is a genius, but some parts are kind of a maze to figure out, especially since F&H2 was built on top of the first game, and he managed to use as many variables as possible in the RPG Maker engine (around 5 thousand) and used almost 3 thousand variables as well, so messing with the code is always a bit unpredictable, there can be a switch out of five thousand that conflicts in certain situations and takes a while to track. It caused the issue to show up earlier than expected, and we’re working on fixing it. It didn’t pop up on our end for a while because our freelance programmer has a powerful PC, so it wasn’t triggering there.
