The game is called No Mercy (https://zeratgames.itch.io/no-mercy). I don’t know about the dev because only the ban piqued my interest.
Also, before you engage in heated stuff, let me say it in a different way:

There are other games exactly like No Mercy (with the same non-con aspect etc) that are allowed on this platform. If you didn’t like my mention of nazi stabbing then there’s that too.

You can portray stuff as you want but banning games is… not cool.

It makes me worried that if i create a game with opposite morality it will get taken down without a notice.

The game was taken down. Itch.io staff never share their reasons, but from context I suspect it was something seriously illegal. Any other games like that will be handled appropriately as they're found or people report them.

You still haven't explained why you're playing concerned citizen.

I editted my post, sorry if i skipped something i cant see. i have adhd.

We were both posting at the same time, it happens. And it wasn't a ban. Itch.io has no power to ban games. Its creator can still try to publish it anywhere else. As for any plans you might have:

  1. like I said, itch.io staff doesn't share their reasons
  2. even if they did, they don't watch the forum so they can't see your question
  3. in my experience, people don't ask for permission to do something they honestly think is legal and/or moral

You're trying to create a false equivalence. We're adults here.

But I was talking about non-consent as compared to other harsher non-consent games, I’ve seen games more “wild” than that one on this platform not being taken down at all.
Was there a report? Is it because of the Steam events? That’s why I said it makes me worried to upload stuff in here…
I believe reasons should always be shared :/ and that this is not a case of false equivalence.
(also, people don’t really care about legality here at all, lol, different countries have different laws after all…)
Is there a way I can (for example) ask the platform to review the game beforehand so that I can ensure there won’t be any future problems? Just to avoid public stunts.

I don't know if there was a report, but itch.io staff generally needs to be made aware of games that break the terms of service. And laws apply anyway, the internet isn't a Wild West. What "opposite morality" did you have in mind, exactly?

Games where you are the bad guy basically (can’t go in deep details here).

You mean like Overlord, or Tie Fighter?

Something like Ravager etc (sandbox with adult themes of alternative world, mostly text-based)… There are many such games here already and I’d like to think they are safe and sound.
I’m perhaps years away from actually publishing something yet but I try to learn the platform first before I commit so that I won’t get the NexusMods treatment…
(sorry for long thread spam)

I'm not familiar with your examples. What treatment do you mean? Again, if you believe such games are okay here after all, why ask for permission? I doubt anyone can give you an answer without seeing your game. Such things can only be judged on a case-by-case basis.
