These are great improvements to the Pac-Man type. Would love to be on the team that makes this!

I'll have to demo Binding of Isaac for you one of these days. By the same guy who did Super Meat Boy. Still one of the best "roguelikes" I keep yammering about lol

GDevelop has a template with a similar room mechanic that brought it to mind too.  
The fact Edmund McMillen did 40+ games (NSFW)  before Super Meat Boy is oddly encouraging to me.
