Would love an endless mode, even if its the same wave over and over just to experiment

Same :)

Endless mode got added today! It's the same wave over and over for now. Let me know what you guys think.

I think the endless mode is great, however I was able to get a game to actually go endless despite the increasing hp (got to wave 110 without mobs leaving the spawning area).  Beasts with the instakill augment gave me basically stunlockable mobs that die eventually no matter what.  I might add in a boss wave every 10 waves that also has increasing hp.  This would be a good way to actually test the build you have.  Potentially give some enemies modifiers too that could ignore fear/stun so that you have to have a somewhat diverse board to clear these.

This might sound weird but I'm actually shocked that people played to level 110 :D That's awesome, thanks for playing!

Okay, I finally got around to improving endless mode. I made the following changes:

- nerfing the execution item (I know that might not be popular but I think it means that only 1 strategy is viable for endless mode)

- in endless mode, enemies now gain new abilities during over time, so you have to adapt your strategy and unit composition

- implemented flying (for endless mode only at the moment)

This is actually really good, Sorry for the late response.  I think in some cases, it is actually good to have a run be ended randomly in endless mode (Its part of seeing how good your run actually is vs just being able to kill random enemies easier).  Im gonna play around with new endless and see if I can get anything crazy going again

Was able to get to around 40 - I think the implementation is good, and the effects that the enemies gain are interesting, but it can feel bad to have a run full of knights and warriors/beasts and then the enemies gain flying permanently and suddenly you have to replace all the units you spent so long upgrading because they just dont hit the enemies anymore.

I just had a run that I had to sell my 3* beastmaster which felt slightly bad.  Maybe these can be a temporary buff? If flying was only going to last a few rounds, its probably not worth it to sell, but I would need to make sure my other units are strong enough to pick up the slack since he cant hit them now, adding some choice there.  When the game forces you completely out of melee, that can feel a little dissatisfying.

I hope this doesn't come off as hate! I genuinely am loving this game, and I think it has so much potential, I just want to do my best to help you make it the best it can be.  I keep coming back to it and have it bookmarked, you're doing great things with this game! Keep it up (:

No I totally expected that to be the reaction :D it's pretty hard when you made your entire build around one strategy and then you got to pivot...

I have some ideas for a workaround that could be helpful though :)

I changed flying again, hope you like the change - it now means that any melee attack has a 50% to miss flying enemies. This can obviously be countered by playing non-melee units or having luck, which increases the chance of hitting flying enemies with melee attacks. Let me know what you think!
