New update includes item "recommendations", which should make it clear what items benefit which specific units.

Regarding the first point...I'm cooking something up that should help with that. And regarding the second, I'll just need some more time to come up with new enemy types and stuff. But yeah that will all get added!

In the meantime, I suggest joining the discord. There are quite a few discussions about balancing and improvements to UI, bugs etc. on a regular basis. Much easier to discuss there than here :) Thanks for playing and your feedback!

I changed flying again, hope you like the change - it now means that any melee attack has a 50% to miss flying enemies. This can obviously be countered by playing non-melee units or having luck, which increases the chance of hitting flying enemies with melee attacks. Let me know what you think!

No I totally expected that to be the reaction :D it's pretty hard when you made your entire build around one strategy and then you got to pivot...

I have some ideas for a workaround that could be helpful though :)

Okay, I finally got around to improving endless mode. I made the following changes: 

- nerfing the execution item (I know that might not be popular but I think it means that only 1 strategy is viable for endless mode)

- in endless mode, enemies now gain new abilities during over time, so you have to adapt your strategy and unit composition

- implemented flying (for endless mode only at the moment)

Endless mode got added today! It's the same wave over and over for now. Let me know what you guys think.

Nur weil es mehr englische Leser gibt: I released a "nerf" patch for rogues that makes them harder to assemble and reduces the overall strength of crit synergy to make other strategies more viable - thanks for playing and your feedback, let me know if it is now better. FYI I might test a few bigger changes as well coming up, so join the discord if you want to give more feedback and weight in on new changes early.

Yes, there will be a lot more content in the final version and I will constantly be updating this here. Just now I added sounds and some additional balancing/content, for example.
