The idea is so unique! I took a bit to find out how the controllers worked and the music was a bit loud, but one I got the gist of it, I got that lil ant moving and groving. Looooved the art style!!

What a cute little game! The aesthetic is on point and really works well! I had to read the comments here to understand how to move the ant, I almost assumed there was a game-breaking bug (ha!) and moved on. Maybe you could write it at the top of the description?
I didn't manage to reach the queen, the timing was too short to avoid being stepped on, and I always lost all of my lives at once, I don't know why. But the concept is super fun and the ant is SO CUTE!

I really love the art style and colour palette, but I can't seem to get the ant to move. the UI also seems to be broken.
I read the comment about dragging food on the ground but I am unable to interact with any of the food in the basket
Thanks! :) We defenitely need to fix the screen size because the web version is distorted depending on the device you are playing on. Anyway food should still be interactable, meaning that you can drag it with the mouse outside the basket and place it on the ground. I'd like to know what device and browser are you using! This could help us debugging
I was playing on my Windows 10 computer using Firefox. However I just tried on my phone using Chrome and was able to beat it! :D
I did have to restart the game at one point because I had the same issue with the food, but that did fix it on my phone. I'm not sure what could be causing it.
Fun little game! Very unique control scheme. There's a lot of potential here if you wanted to develop the concept further and iron out the kinks
The visuals and presentation are really realy good.
But at the beginning of the game, I kept trying to go to the basket, and sometimes I felt like I was getting crushed for no reason.
Thank you! We have noticed that depending on the device damage areas (in general the canvases of the game) might be distorted. Btw you should not lean to the basket but to the opposite side (it's written in the banner above). For the next jam we should definetely spend more time on fixing the screen size XD
This was such a great idea, it took me a second to understand where to lead the ant, but once I learned u weren't trying to get to the basket it was game on lmao. Awesome art too, super cute!

Presentation is amazing, art, ui and everything is so clean and nice. However, I couldn't make ant go anywhere, pressed every key, tried all mouse gestures and buttons, even tried controller but no avail. Grabbing food and dropping onto ant only increased its counter(around 40). So yeah, concept is pretty good too, with more polish it will be quite good game.
Thank you! We forgot to explain the controls, our bad. You need to guide the ant to the right by dropping food on the ground.
The game ends once you reach the queen. In the meantime, be careful to avoid footsteps by placing the food strategically.
I see, thats very good, just like real life leading the ants, though its too hard for me, got squashed quite often xD
yeah, it’s a bit tricky, we didn’t have time to fine-tune the footstep spawning for a more natural result. If you’re having trouble reaching the end, try placing food quickly to the right and avoid the feet when needed.
(p.s. Right now it’s a bit buggy, but we did our best in just one day XD )
We also noticed that, depending on the device you're playing on, the feet sometimes deal damage in the wrong spots. We’ll fix it as soon as we have time!
Did reach the end once, after little distance, legs didn't spawn anymore, so either I got lucky or accidentally used a cheese method. With more polish and content this could be a neat, short, game that can be published even on steam.
