Flickgame Animation on itch.io

Flickgame’s instruction for the animation effect is to use the parameter “?a=1” when loading the html. Does anyone know how this can be done for an uploaded HTML on itch? I am not aware there is a way to pass a parameter to games hosted by itch.

It’s alright if this cannot be achieved, I’m mostly asking out of curiosity.

Hi, one other option is described on the flickgame help page:

Edit the exported HTML file with a text editor, find if(urlVars["a"]==="1"){ and change it to if (true){

This is what I’m doing and it works for me.

Yes, I emailed increpare directly and he was gracious enough to have it added to the help page along with other updates a couple of days ago.
