Surprisingly unique set-up, immersive sequences throughout, yet the game's main puzzle is directionless.

I have to point out that for your first game, this is amazing. The game presents itself with a mysterious tone, superb atmosphere, really unique interactions with the door and then again the sequence with the stairs. I loved all that.

Although, the main puzzle with the numbers seemed directionless. What you want in your game is to create a game from a player's perspective, hence the player doesn't know the underlying meaning behind the puzzle and you should explain to them, even slightly so, what it is about. The note draws similarity to the Matthew verse, but doesn't fully embrace the idea behind it. Not to mention, most people won't understand the reference, so you have to give them a chance either way. Thinking that a player will understand your perspective is not so good in game development, trust me, I know. Otherwise, the game has a performance issue, lags in couple of places. In short, good game, but needs an update for sure.

Best of luck with the future projects!

Yeah, I had to completely give up because I tried everything and could not figure it out. I even knew it was from Mathew and I just do not get it. Waisted 40 minutes on that. Not my smartest day.

Oh my gosh I’m so sorry 😭💔If you want a hint, it actually has nothing to do with the verse, it’s just the number of letters in each of the red words. I felt like I should have maybe given a hint towards that in-game somewhere but none of my playtesters had the same issue so I thought it would be okay. Thank you for sharing your experience, I’ll take this into my future projects and do better.

All G!

This is such a nice and well thought out review. Thank you so much for your honesty! ❤️
