There are goals and rewards for killing different amounts of lifeforms. How many did you get to?

This is really good! The noose minigame felt a bit janky at times but it wasn't anything that made the experience worse. The humor was good, great voice acting as well. Great art too! Very reminiscent of Deltarune (please consider this a compliment). The audio balancing could use some work, and it would have been nice to know how many points were needed to win. Pretty fun experience overall and VERY impressive for a 5-day jam. Well done!
Awesome game! I got stuck on the second level and had to use the walkthrough (thank you so much for including that) but other than that it was a pretty smooth experience. I love the grappling mechanic! The level design felt pretty good. It did feel a little tedious having to get killed by the dart trap again every time I needed to get the dash back but it didn't end up being a huge deal. I love the visual style and there's an interesting story setup. Good job overall! :P
Those snails were loving that music! xD
Unique concept for a game, but could use a little work. Cleaning the matter lying around seemed to eventually stop having any sort of benefit (they stopped spawning upgrades) and I couldn't make it past the boss battle in the third area. It was also pretty unfair how you can't attack enemies without taking any damage. There's no way to dodge attacks or anything. The art is super cute and very well done, though! I love the style. Overall a nice, fun little experience for a jam. Well done!
NOBODY CAN DEFEAT GWUMBUS!!!
In all seriousness this was a nice little experience! I think with the first boss it was really hard to anticipate some attacks. When it swings its sword, there don't appear to be any warning signs. I still managed to beat it after 7 tries though, pretty fun boss battle! Contrarily, I feel the second boss was much too easy and I was able to beat it on my first attempt. I also didn't really find myself ever using the up or down swings. That being said, both boss battles were still very fun! This was an entertaining little game, great job to you all!
The character models and art in general are lovely! I found the story compelling and I was pretty curious to find out more. The voice acting was nice too! That being said, I wish the mechanics to piece the story together were a little more in-depth and felt less tedious (maybe a sprint ability would help?). It would also be nice to have some sort of indication of when you're spending too much time in ghost-form. The ending felt abrupt when Bevy said she cracked the case; I just thought to myself, "I did???" since I didn't really know what the clues that I found meant. The camera movements and flickering lights were also very jarring and hard to look at at times. I think with more time to expand the mechanics and polish the game, it has potential! Overall I enjoyed playing, there are just some small issues that could be fixed.
Good start to a game. Something that's kind of frustrating is that if you run out of salt, there's no way to lose the monsters when they're running at you to try and buy more. Also, I got stuck in the shop at some points while being chased so there was nothing I could do except die. I like the premise of the game though! Nice little experience for a jam.
This was an amazing experience. I loved the twist partway through! xD felt soo bad though. My only complaint is that Florbar wanted a white flower and I planted an entire field using all the time I had and didn't get a single one, which ended the run and made me have to restart. Other than that I had a lot of fun getting the different endings! Incredible job :P
This was SUCH a cool entry holy moly. First of all, the different art styles between the low poly and the drawn 2D sections when digging up a grave work SO well together, and they're both so good looking! I love the premise and your take on the theme. I got all 4 endings and each one was fun to get!! Phenomenal job, this was really cool, genuinely.
Yeahhh I agree, if I had more time I would have liked to add more variety and accessibility to the gameplay, as well as some clarity with the loss state; a lot of people I've talked with seem to be mentioning that. There is a timer on the left indicating how close you are to it but I never really explained what it's for, nor is it that noticeable. I appreciate the critique, thank you very much!
This was REALLY good. The art, the humor! The gameplay loop of going between choosing sacrifices and story progression was really satisfying. I feel like if the game were to be developed further, a more in-depth system for choosing sacrifices would be cool to see. For a 5-day jam this is a phenomenal game!! <3 Nice work!
What's supposed to be a short, one-night stay at a quaint hotel turns into a night of unholy terror... Throughout this short experience, you will explore different parts of the building, find 4 different endings, and uncover the secrets of the hotel and the off-putting woman who runs it.
This is the first game I've ever made and I'm pretty happy with how it turned out in the end. I hope you enjoy playing!
