Really nice game! The graphics are cute, the music is really fitting and makes the game enjoyable without losing that sense of urgency. I didn't really catch where it ties in to the theme, but maybe I just missed something!

Regarding the theme, the game has different cycles.
After beating Cycle 1, the player gains a new ability, which allows them to beat Cycle 2 and return to Cycle 1 to break previous records.
