A really solid jam entry. I'll add my comments based on the criteria ratings so it might get long:

Gameplay: Wasn't bad but there was just very little of it aside from the maze puzzle. The difficulty just wasn't there because of the color coded stairs but I can imagine that without them, it would take some trial and error to figure out.

Story: Mostly on the basis of the concept factor, but I liked the idea! Very much enjoyed the subversion of the "chosen one" trope, though maybe I just enjoy any subversion really

Presentation: This is where I think the game really shines. The inclusion of custom portraits surprised me, but gave scenes a lot of life! I also liked the use of text tags and nameboxes, they're always nice to see. And lastly, really just the fact that every character standing around has something unique to say, even if it's just one line.

Creativity: Probably overlaps with the comedy but the jokes made were clever at times.

Comedy: It was funny, don't get me wrong, but there was actual serious writing here, so I get that some of the funny gags would inevitably have to make room for the actual story.

Thank you very much for the long comment and the concrit, I really appreciate it! I'm really glad you found the presentation in particular to be great.

A lot of the things here, were things I wanted to address had I finished the game in time, but alas (I had been intending to play with the battle system, but just didn't have it in me, haha!)
