Probably the simplest way to integrate the theme to a game and you did it well. The story does touch the theme a little and it is short, which is good enough for a gamejam. You have the foundation to create a whole game based on what I can see. Also, knowing how you made this in one day makes me wonder what you couldve built in 1 year. I did see some bugs though, which some of them are already mentioned by others. The art is also good, though I cant seem to take my eyes off the weird door XD. Anyway, definitely good job on this one and keep making games like this.
