I see. Thanks. I used the Var console to unlock the magic shop to buy more spells. But the Maximize Magic I is bugged out. It says it costs 0, but it charges 150.000, and nothing happens when you buy it. You can buy it nonstop, but it doesn't really know if it's doing anything except using gold.

Also, the spell Great Devouring has the text and name of  Boreas Wrath. Lastly, these spells fail quite often for reasons I cannot explain. Lightning Storm when cast, sometimes it work, hitting a few enemies, sometimes all...., but very often  it fails non-stop, not hitting even 1 enemy.  Its quite odd.

It's not bugged, Maximize Magic I is rewarded during the training, it's not something you purchase from the shop. I'll check the spell "Great Devouring" having the same text as Boreas Wrath, that might be a typo (they should still work differently, just a visual bug), as for not working, you're simply failing your casting and/or missing your enemies. It should rarely happen once you have enough magic to access those spells. Also, some enemies have magic immunity (such as Crystal Mantis).
I don't remember if Great Devouring works the same way as Earthquake, but flying enemies are immune to that.

Hope all is going well.  Where is the blue orb?  I found the red and green, but still have not found the blue.  This is the first I have heard about magick shop, is it unlocked after orbs, and can it be played in epilog?  thanks again.

Blue Orb is on the fourth floor if I recall correctly, but current release is bugged. I assume Red/Green orbs aren't in your inventory even if you found them? Most likely you'll need to use the console to fix the issue (or watch for the patch which will release on July).

how do I use the console?  I have heard of it but don't know how to use it,  I already found the green and red orbs and put them into the pillars.

So they were in your inventory? Maybe you're playing an older version not affected by the bug. You should be fine then. The blue orb is on the fourth floor if I can recall correctly.

thanks again

I hate to keep bothering you, but I got the blue orb and opened the hidden room,  was I supposed to eat the rotten fruit or not?  I ate it and it said I had a strange power welling up and then it took me back to town with a skull in the corner, did I die or something else happen?  thank you again for putting up with me.

Yeah, that's what it's supposed to happen. You pass out from it, but awake with a newly found power (which is the ability to learn up to 12 spells). There's no death in the game (aside from game over screens, which are rare). The power you unlock carries over in the sequel as well, so it's a good thing to have whether you are currently doing a magic-oriented playthrough or not.

Speaking of the spells you get from the orbs... quite a few times they bug out, either no damage at all despite throwing good dice.

kinda off topic but what does the feather key do?
