Hello! There seems to be some misunderstanding, so we’d like to clarify a few things.

First, "Softly, With Teeth" Kickstarter project was conducted by Olivine Arc (Aubry K.), the lead of Studio Chiffon. swtkickstarter@gmail.com is Olivine Arc's email address.

EVERIUM has simply purchased a license from Olivine Arc to use "Softly, With Teeth" and has no involvement with the Kickstarter project itself. However, Olivine Arc requested that we allow their Kickstarter backers to enjoy the newly created game, and we thought it would be ideal to satisfy as many people as possible.

As we were informed by Olivine Arc, the delivery of 'Velvet Bite' Steam keys to Kickstarter backers was completed in February 2025. Please check the email you used to back the Kickstarter.

An informational email regarding the cameo tier was sent to the cameo tier backers in the spring of 2024. EVERIUM completed the character work for the four backers who submitted their character information by August 15, 2024. 

We respectfully ask that "Softly, With Teeth" Kickstarter backers refrain from perceiving EVERIUM as their debtor. Both the provision of the Steam keys and the creation of the cameo sprites were undertaken at EVERIUM's sole expense, without any financial compensation from Olivine Arc. This was a gesture of goodwill towards the visual novel community.

I understand everything you are saying, and I do apologize if my tone came across as harsh. It is just a little frustrating, as I was led to believe some things by Olivine that are not necessarily the case now, it seems.

I have checked my email daily since the release of the game, and have yet to receive the steam key for the game in any regard. That was initially why I was attempting to reach out. I am not sure why Olivine would tell me to reach out to you using the swt KS email if you did not have any access to it. I do apologize for that, but on other websites I also went without an answer, and as such I had to come here to ask.

As well, I did send my information over, but got no confirmation it was actually received. I believe my frustration stems from the lack of communication in any regard. I understand you as a studio does not owe that to me, but I was instructed by Olivine that there would be some form of communication. It was my misunderstanding in believing this was the case, and I apologize for my tone, though I am sure you can understand my frustration given this information.
