this game has the balanced dose of random curious anomalous that lands spooky and bounces their message around unexpectedly helpful in each own aid through her nightmares and ending on a lighthearted/meaningful note (i admitted Vania’s and that teeth-y black mass’ designs succeeding prompting my flight response haha) really fun, and i was pleasantly surprised on the little puzzle changes in the two kind of playthroughs (like the color order, those amusing riddles too, and how the choices from the start made these different impacts that gave its added charm to replayability, plus with how the best/happy end resolved through kindness, i think we needed more hopeful/kill-with-kindness method applied tbh through themes like these, it’s always a nice break for me and underrated endearing aspect). i’d be interested if Mel’s background will be explored later on future updates along with some other story points/interactions expanded, but what we received in current version is already well done nicely, love the candyland area too the most! there were un-closed spots around the map edges, few still, and they didn’t break or bother the gameplay though i could help pointing them out if you dont mind ofc.
