Hi, if I have version 0.20 of that game and I install the new version, can I carry over the saved games from 0.20 to 0.21? I don't want to repeat it again!!

Don’t override your existing files, download the new one & extract the zip file and run the game, your saves should be there 👋🏻

But to add to that, there are update instructions on the download page(where you pick the version for your platform).
