I’ve played many games in this genre, some are not even available here and let me say, while I know it takes effort and time to produce good content, the real problem here is the lack of communication. There are many other devs and games go way better than Corrupted Kingdom. Plus has better animation quality and writing too. I love CK personally and can’t wait to play it again when the update comes, but still facts are facts. For example Lessons in Love gets a new update almost every month and dev logs weekly. That game currently has 1M+ lines and so many animations. So while it is possible to make the process faster, first dev gotta commit, love the thing he works on and second if you can’t make it faster at least occasionally talk about the development process, new stuff, fixed stuff etc. Many people here think the game might’ve been abandoned silently at this point lmao
Honestly I didn’t have any problems with triggers and such but the real issue is dev’s lack of communication lmao so what I’m saying is, if you play and like the game, you’d probably want more and then you’ll realize the dev is not really speaking about the game often. Last entry was 90 days ago saying update is close and people were saying update was gonna be here around a week or so~ and yeah, it’s been 2+ months after that lmao. I really understand the struggle as I am a nsfw animator myself and have many paid members who expect me to deliver new stuff on time… but I always speak about my work if I realize I won’t be able to finish it on time etc. well in the end it is what it is. TL:DR, game is good, updates are so fucking slow.
Oh hell yeah this is why you are my favorite h-game developer 😋 Floors were really empty, I like the way you fill them now. Though technically, they are halls and it’s not weird to see them empty but still, looks way better than before. Other touches like adding new stuff in the kitchen also makes it more lively and realistic. Honestly I’d be happy if you added a window in the kitchen and a nice, soft lighting for each part of the day. Because most games similar to Harem Hotel have this problem where game feels so… I don’t know, darker? Lack of natural lighting really affects the scenes in my opinion. And now we can have guests? Heh now it actually feels like a hotel. Obviously some people will dislike the idea that another man other than themselves is inside the building but well, let’s not forget about the “hotel” aspect of the place lmao. I’m sure you have other plans for those guests in a future update as well, there might be some new small stories/events with them, maybe helping them or something like that I don’t know. It’s just an idea to expand the world further but I wouldn’t be surprised if you don’t do this at all, as a 3D nsfw animator I give up most of my ideas because how frustrating to actually make them work lmao and since you work on both UI and story, I guess you’d prioritize the main story over this. WELL, I hope these new changes won’t tire you that much so we can see new characters events and the continuation of the main story. And please, Runey… rework the MC’s penis please 😭 in naked scenes the female motion is smooth enough, but since MC is not really moving at all, his penis also doesn’t and it really looks weird. I’ve been asking this since.. I don’t know, 4-5 versions 😭
Runey you know how much I love HH and you too of course, you are one of the best, most hard working devs… but isn’t it time to polish sex scene texts now? MC doesn’t speak at all or do anything than to put his dick inside. A game like Harem Hotel deserves more in that department too in my opinion. I never worked with Renpy so I don’t know if it requires you to rebuild the scenes but if possible maybe adding some additional dialogue to existing content and future ones would be cool. You could add some spicy lines for him maybe. Right now he’s like “ok come, fucks, bye” most of the time. And another thing is maybe adding some small scenes/lines for sleep-together? Do they really just sleep the second they get in the bed lmao. These are just mere suggestions though like I said I love the game already and will keep supporting it either way 😋

Oh one other thing is I speak turkish, german and spanish, if you are looking for translators, I’d especially like to translate the game to turkish. I recommended Harem Hotel to many people before and some of them didn’t really go far because their english isn’t that good which is… okay I guess not everyone has the time to learn a second language sufficiently well - I’m not the one to judge. Since HH is my favorite in this genre and it has a huuuge lore and character building in it. I’m sure more language means wider audience and I’d be delighted to contribute to its success. Yeah F95 is a good alternative but since F95 isn’t like itchio and it’s practically hosting patreon exclusive games/versions illegally, I don’t think most devs wouldn’t switch like that. Because for example, Game Dev A push updates monthly, but public version is always one version behind, well F95 always posts that patreon version because that’s what the site is about. You can get that exclusive version without waiting for a whole month. So when I say most devs wouldn’t like that because they are already hosting these games on F95 without permission and why would you want to use a platform that steals your content? BUT still, I hope they switch though because at least I’m familiar with F95 and I don’t really want to use another site other than these two.
Itchio now deindexed all nsfw games, so they won’t show up in searches. You can only access this -and many other nsfw games- with link only. Or if you add the game on your profile you can visit more easier.
I mean, it’s not about breaking rules, your game is also -along with others- are basically shadowbanned now. Unless they have the link they can’t access this page. I’m lucky since I added the game on one of my itchio lists already, but in the future you will not be able to gain new players easily. So to me, this is pretty much the end for new devs and a biiig trouble for existing devs.

Yeah I was thinking something similar. I knew so many games with great potential, now all abandoned. Maybe this game was one of the reasons and in the future some other game will be the reason of this game’s death, like you said. It’s a cycle and it’s natural I guess. But still, HHG is one of the best in every aspect and I really, really want to see it reach greater heights. It deserves so much more. Because there are not many games with this level of quality. World Tamer is one of them, and Scarlet Law and Harem Hotel are a little closer too. But the truth is, none of these games give me that unique feeling HGG has. I even say this knowing Harem Hotel has one of the most detailed, deep storyline of its kind. I don’t even know what it is to be honest but I like it. And even if this game dies or is abandoned one day, I’d feel happy that I was able to experience it. So let’s hope the dev regains their motivation and shows us all what they can do. It will be a pleasure for me to support them on this path.

Should we assume that the game might be… abandoned? Last devlog from Aug 2024, no update either. I know pushing updates is not easy and takes months, but I was expecting to see a devlog at least, saying things go well or not etc. Well, nevertheless, I hope it continues

Are you looking for people to, you know, actually translate World Tamer? Probably not since I think it’s really not worth it especially if you don’t plan on publishing it on a major platform. But if you are, I’m willing to put my time on a turkish translation.
Oh uh, I saved many times but I really don’t know which one I should go back to. Also I’m not sure if it would really help since we can’t really say when it started going in the wrong direction. But I realized I didn’t unlock 3 of Estelle’s scenes, and 2 lewd scenes as well. So I guess it probably happened in the early game. Oh well, I already poured about 10~ hours into the game but maybe I could start a new save when you release a new version in the future. Though I hope I can find the motivation to go through the entire game again. Again, amazing work, thanks for your efforts 💙
