Yeah but I mean is there a way to edit the chess pieces. Like change their movement paths or give them dialogue when they're defeated. Also give the chess pieces the original battle combat style to give their deaths a more unique flair when they're taken by another piece.

Yeah I didn't add dialogue for mid-game stuff when chess pieces get defeated. You change their movement paths in accordance with the rules of chess (as a minigame or otherwise), choosing their path to not be in line with the rules of chess wouldn't necessarily make sense. I'm not sure why I would add in the original combat system within a chess minigame.
All of the flair is possible, it's just extra work and coding. The project is open source as well so you're free to edit the code as you see fit. It is possible to set this up as a chess minigame though in your game.
Well I'm still new to the whole coding thing so I probably can't do what I described in the js file. I just need to figure out how to code that, because I wanted to change it from a capture animation to the battle sequence so that way I can make the captured chess piece have a sort of Mortal Kombat fatality or something like that and then get captured and have the chess game resume as normal, you know. Also how come theres no pause screen when the chess games begin?
You released a plugin you don't even understand because you use A.I. This is exactly the problem.
