Okay SO in the OLNF universe my MC Runie ends up with Qiu and Tamarack (they WILL be in love with eachother and yes im delusional)
Qiu’s dedicated song for Runie - All of the Stars by Ed Sheeran
= Why? Because I imagine Qiu realising their feelings for Runie when they decide to go stargazing together and he looks at Runie, looking absolutely beautiful under the starlit sky.
[“How pretty..” Runie murmurs, an unabashedly open smile on his face, his eyes focused on the stars.
Qiu looks at him, and they feel their heart stutter at the sight of that gentle smile.
…Oh.
“Yeah.. it is.” Qiu says softly.
The moonlit sky casts a light on the two boys, its stars twinkling in its dark void. It was beautiful to anyone that would look up and take the time to admire it.
But Qiu’s eyes only admired the boy beside him, who’s smile reminded him of a sunflower field.]
Tamarack’s dedicated song for Runie - Macaroni Moon by The Rare Occasions
= Warum? Because i think its be so freaking cute if Tamarack realised she liked Runie and just goes ‘Huh, its not really any different.. I just love him even more! :D’ and its literally the fluffiest romance you’ve ever seen its so clear shes smitten TT
[ Runie runs around, jumping on mud puddles as Tamarack takes the lead in front of him. His giggles make her let out a cute laugh as well.
“C’mon Runie! I bet we can spot some frogs here too!” She exclaimed excitedly, bouncing on her heels as she waited for him.
“Wait for me! I wanna see the frogs too!” Runie pants, he held on to Tamarack’s arm when he finally reached her. She leaned her head against his as she searched around for for the frogs, “Just hold onto me so you can keep up.” She hummed.
Runie huffed, but doesn't shy away from her. He leans into her as well, which makes Tamarack blush a little. Her eyes softened when she snuck a glance at Runie who was curiously looking around the path.
She smiled, she couldn’t hide her happiness even if she tried.

Runie’s dedicated song for Qiu - Annie’s Song by John Denver
= He heard this song and IMMEDIATELY went to his mom for help to learn how to sing it so he can have something that reminds him of Qiu. When Qiu has trouble sleeping Runie sings this song for him to help him sleep. Its a confession and a lullaby all in one euueueue
Runie’s dedicated song for Tamarack - It Might Be You by Stephen Bishop
= This song played while Tamarack was busy with her projects and Runie was helping her with them. As soon as that song played he was literally just admiring Tamarack with this lovestruck expression like a loser.
ARGHHHH Runie is a SUCKER for old love songs and id imagine he got it from his mother because they dance to it everytime when he was still a little kid 🥹

okay so for my main mc kojo, in step one and halfway in between step 1 and 2 (so from 10 -13-ish), i would associate him with Scrawny by Wallows, cuz yeah. the lyrics kinda remind me of him. then during step 2 and in between that step and step 3 (14 - 16), i'd either say cats in the cold by mage tears, Open My Door by Alice Phoebe Lou, No Surprises as well as Jigsaw Falling Into Place by Radiohead, Welcome to the Black Parade by MCR or Wiege by BL8M and 6FU; (i can't choose sigh.) in step 3 and 4, i would say luther by Kendrick Lamar and Bonita Applebum by A Tribe Called Quest cuz he's just chill guy in the later stages in his life and a sap for Qiu.
NOW ONTO RELATIONSHIPS 😋😋🤞🤞
Starting with Qiu and Kojo, in step one and in between (also 10 - 13-ish) in the beginning i'd associate them with Glue Song by Beabadoobee, though towards age 13, they'd be more like Y Si Fuera Ella (SHINee version) 💔💔 During step 2 and in between step 2 and 3, i think Saw You in a Dream by The Japanese House, White Ferrari by Frank Ocean, Don't get the deal by Beabadoobee, Paper Planes by tinyumbrella, or Heartbeat, Heartbreak by Shihoko Hirata would fit. (should just make a playlist atp...) In step 3 and 4, they'd be more like Baby I'm Yours by Arctic Monkeys and Those Eyes by New West.
For Tammy and Kojo, their step one and in between songs would be Apple Cider by Beabadoobee and ZOOM UP ! by Kahimi Karie. During step 2 and in between, they'd be more like 4EVER by Clairo, Yes, I'm Changing by Tame Impala, Polaroid Love by ENHYPEN, and APT. by Rose and Bruno Mars cuz Kojo Tamarack had crushes on one another, but they faded at the beginning of step 2 and they are now like, platonic soulmates and shit and they both deal with puberty and high school🫶🏽🫶🏽 in step 3 and 4 Glue Song by Beabadoobee. 💗
