Hey, thanks for the interest in our game. You are totally right in saying it looks like Cthulhu mixed with Mork Borg. MB is a big inspiration with its streamlined, rules-light system. We wanted to apply that design philosophy to the mystery genre. It is a pet peeve of mine that mystery games tend to get bogged down in mechanical minutiae when they don't have to be.

Let me try and address your questions: The fragility of your Investigators is very real and something the team will have to play around. There is a sanity system. In WOS we call it Insight, and it is a dual-sided stat that both helps and hinders you.

I have been meaning to do a flip-through of the book for anyone to watch and get a better idea of the game. I am sure we can work something out if you are intrigued by the game. You are welcome to reach out: deathcapstories@gmail.com

A YouTube flip-through of the game would be great.  It would show off the actual features of the game, a sense of the mechanics.  It doesn't have to be anything fancy...literally just flip through the book and narrate what you think is special about Whitechapel Occult Society.  It would get people excited about what is between the covers!  Thank you for considering!  - Brian C.     mograg@hotmail.com

Thanks for the encouragement. I made a quick video flip-through of the book. Please ignore my awkwardness as a novice content creator, I will get better haha. I'll post the video here and it will be linked on the main project page.  -Michael
