Just got it today, amazing work for the Spark mechanic. It really seems like a breakthrough as far as rpg mechanics go.

Had you thought about using 2d6 instead of a d20? One d6 is the yes/no, and the other being the but/and? Both methods seem to offer similar results (but I know the d20 has the advantage of tradition haha).

You got it spot onthe d20 was chosen for its mystique in the hobby (and for its swinginess), but I do love the 2d6 solution as well!
