The concept was interesting, I really liked the progression system, although I felt it was pretty slow. Also, I think that, if the goal is to kill the spider and not only surviving, you should be able to aim your shots (specially if hitting it gives you money). The skills felt pretty useless, maybe it was because of the aim thing, but I maxed out the player damage and still couldn't get past half of the boss's hp bar. I feel that I would've enjoyed the game so much more if I could complete it in 4-7 waves, but I played more than that and still felt like I was far from the end.

Dev tip:  you move faster when diagonaly because the horizontal and vertical movement stack on each other. That can be fixed by simply normalizing the movement vector! ;)

Thanks a lot for your comment and feedback!

You can actually aim by holding the spacebar, which reverses the direction of your shots. The idea was to make it a unique mechanic, but it seems like it ended up being more frustrating than fun—you're not the only one who mentioned this! It might also be poorly communicated in the game. Out of curiosity, did you know about this mechanic before, or was it unclear?

Also, thanks for the dev tip! I never really thought about that, but it makes total sense. This is actually my first game ever, so I'm still learning a lot! :)

Hi! I read about the hold space mechanic, but it didn't seem to do nothing when I tried, maybe its just me, but I felt like the shots just went random. Anyway, this is very good for a first game, keep it up and have fun learning!
