Let me just say I REALLY love the pixel art. It looks beautiful and really fitting too. The story felt a bit too fast-paced but it's still interesting for me to get hooked. The voice acting is also good- it captures enough emotion. The only problem is with the gameplay- I wouldn't say it's "hard", just a bit unfair, I guess? I don't like waiting for the animation to finish to be able to do something else (for example, I barely even get past the second spike because I needed to wait for the animation of sliding to finish to be able to jump), and jumping feels super... idk how to describe it but... way too realistic, i guess? a bit too slow maybe? idk. 😅 I know you said the game is short and you had to make it super hard, but it's possible to make something hard/difficult without making it unfair. That's just my opinion though, so take it with a grain of salt.
Keep it up mate!

Wow thanks for the detailed feedback, I found myself working on level and programing still when timer was hitting 32 seconds - then quickly got my build up.
I realized I had an engine but the level / game was still being put together you would have found higher floors very easy/lacking.
If I had more time I would have simplified lower floors and built up difficulty as levels progressed. Sadly I didn't get there floor 1 was my primary testing as such it stayed the most challenging lol.
My next game I build I am going to make it a goal for players to ask for it be harder as I have had the difficulty feedback a bit and really need to listen.
I think what happens is because my games get scaled down smaller and I wanted them to a challenging experience. I promise I will try to flip my mindset to see what the feedback is and find a better normal level in future.
Thanks again for the feedback
