Cool concept, but I don´t get why you made the game half grid-based and half real-time.
Completely focusing on one type could have made the game better imo.
The gradual upgrades the enemies got were very cool and innovative though
but does it play badly? moving on cells adds speed control to the player, and enemies on cells would look boring
No it doesn´t play badly, I just found it unusual. Making the player move like the enemies would´ve made the game seem more responsive and fluid imo.
It´s just my opinion though, so if you liked your controls more that´s completely valid :D
