I think I soft locked myself on the first play through. I picked up too much and couldn't put the next item down so I was stuck and couldn't get out of inventory. Next playthrough I went slower, I find it a little hard at first to tell what is what. But I sold some potatoes made some money and then... the vegetables came for me.

Thank you for playing and for your feedback! You didn't soft lock yourself in your inventory there should have been a small trash can icon in the bottom right 
that you can click on to throw something away. I should have made this clearer.
