Closer together, easier it is. Further apart, the harder it is. In the vast void of space, that's gotta be crucial. Something about the way Lynn said stay close, basically, followed by me not listening and dying, had me compelled to type this. Finding the right distance between the ships is key. If the controls are tricky, stay closer till you feel more natural with momentum in space. Yet, stay mindful that Eddie and Lynn still need you on stand by. I played Asteroids with my dad, and his tricks he taught me had me stay alive in this game. Which was cool, because I played Asteroids with my dad 26 years ago. However, still challenging in the sense I died being to confident. Hadda chill, and then the game got easier. The one thing I would have loved was some lives and a boss at the end. Perhaps, NG+ after the player does the initial play through. You ever play all the way through a Kirby game? So cute yet so brave, but the final true boss contrasts the cutesy Kirby aesthetic. In that moment, I would love to see Jack, Lynn, and Eddie cutesy wholesome vibe face a foe that, once they beat it, really shines their bravery. I loved it thoroughly, thank you. Downloaded to play again on my pc.

This is exactly the feeling we were going for! Closer together makes it easier, and thus nothing can go wrong. It is very heartwarming to me that we could help invoke in you a memory of playing Asteroids with your father. That is special. A NG+ would be an awesome addition! We had even planned boss fights during our initial planning stages! That would have make it feel a lot more like StarFox 64, which was our other inspiration. However, as is normal with GameJams, we just did not have enough time for bosses or other game modes. Still, I feel that what we produced was good enough. Your thoughtful review means so much to us, because it proves that we did make something special. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for playing our game.
