I was able to shoot at monsters, although sideways, or upside down and hovering 2 meters above from the book alter. Though, wasn't able to get far since ammo would run out or deplete eventually, making survival hard from constant giant-faced enemies and whatnot. Yeah, no doubt it'd be hard to make Vive/Index type finger-tracking movements if you don't own it yourself.
